How to get the Ecoprodukty XML URL?

Contact your Ecoprodukty.cz sales rep or their partnership service. Access to the XML feed is reserved for Ecoprodukty partner accounts.

Does the module work on PrestaShop 9?

Yes. Tested in production on PrestaShop 9.0.x. Also compatible with 8.x and 1.7.x.

How long does the full import take?

About 30 minutes for the 517 products, mainly the image download. Tip: let it run via nightly CRON, it's ideal.

What happens if Ecoprodukty adds a product or changes a price?

At the next CRON full_import: the new product is created automatically, existing prices are updated according to your tiers. You keep your modified descriptions if you did so from the BO.

Why is the catalog in Czech?

Ecoprodukty.cz publishes its XML only in Czech. It's ideal for targeting the CZ/SK market with native content. To serve other markets, you will need to translate the product sheets after import (manually or via a tool like DeepL).

What is the "Cover image safety" option for?

If Ecoprodukty.cz doesn't have the main image of a product (rare case), 2 strategies to choose from: Skip = don't import this product at all (clean catalog). Disabled = import in invisible mode, you can activate it later when the image is available.

How does multi-images work?

Ecoprodukty publishes its images according to a pattern: for product 12345, you have 12345.jpg (cover) then 12345_2.jpg, 12345_3.jpg... up to 10 max. The module tests each number with an HTTP HEAD request (very fast) and only downloads images that actually exist.

Can I deactivate the module without losing my products?

Yes. Uninstallation keeps all data (products, categories, brands, supplier, logs). To erase this data: use the Tools → Selective deletion tab before uninstalling.
