A: Yes, fully compatible PS 9.x. The module handles the specific PS9 migration where meta_keywords was removed (automatic switch to ps_tag) as well as the PS9 bug where the original image does not appear in the BO product edit page (fix by 1:1 copy of the file <id>.jpg in addition to the resized variants).
Q: How many products can I import?
A: No limit on the module side. The Debranet catalog currently contains ~7,688 products, but auto-pagination 100×100 supports any future catalog size. You can use test mode (50 products) to start gently.
Q: Will my €9/month shared hosting hold up?
A: Yes, the module is specially optimized. The "1 product = 1 AJAX call" architecture ensures that no call exceeds 2-3 seconds. No risk of Apache 5xx timeout, unlike "all-in-one" import modules.
Q: Do I have to ask Debranet for a codekey?
A: No, the API codekey is already integrated in the module (obfuscated to prevent extraction). You have no network configuration to do — install and start the import. The Debranet B2B account is however still required for billing and delivery of your orders.
Q: French is not in Debranet, how to sell in France?
A: The Debranet feed only provides EN + HU. If your PrestaShop has the French language active, the module will still create the products with their English names as FR fallback. You can then manually translate the sheets via DeepL or a translation module. To sell directly in French, the Busyx Pro module (French adult catalog) is a complementary alternative.
Q: How does the Debranet tree structure work?
A: Unlike other modules that impose a fixed tree structure, the Debranet module preserves the supplier's native hierarchy (~78 categories with their parent/child relationships). At phase 2 of the import, the module creates all categories in cascade by parent_id. You can then re-map individually from the Categories Mappings tab to merge or move if you want to customize.
Q: What happens to already-imported products during a new import?
A: Automatic "light update" mode: the module detects the existing product (by Debranet ID) and ONLY updates the price and stock. It NEVER rewrites your descriptions, categories or tags — you keep your customizations and your SEO work.
Q: What if I want to stop an import in progress?
A: "Stop" button available during the import (UI) and during the CRON (flag file). Clean stop at the end of the current product, state saved for resumption at the exact stop page (cursor pagination).
