The module manages Apache time-budgets: if an execution approaches the timeout, it saves its state and restarts in the background via asynchronous CRON. No more 5xx errors. You can also limit to 10/50 products for a quick test.
"What if TEFCOLD changes the CSV structure?"
The module addresses columns by their name (not by index). If TEFCOLD adds columns, the module continues to work. If a column disappears, the error is logged cleanly and the import continues with the other products. Mapping updates included for 12 months.
"I am on PrestaShop 1.7 / 8 / 9, does it work everywhere?"
Yes. Module tested on PrestaShop 1.7.8, 8.0, 8.1, 9.0. PHP compatibility 7.2 → 8.4. No override. No separate AdminController. All UI is in getContent() and AJAX via ajax.php at the module root — 100% compliant with modern PS best practices.
"What happens if I uninstall?"
BO uninstallation preserves your products, categories and logs (for safety). To erase everything: use the Tools → Selective deletion tab before uninstalling. Dedicated checkboxes: products, empty categories, brands (double confirm), PDF attachments, logs.
"Why mono-language (FR only) and not multilingual?"
The TEFCOLD CSV is available in several languages from the supplier (separate URLs per language). To add another language to your shop, you have 2 options: (a) install a 2nd instance of the module on your multilingual PrestaShop, or (b) we create a dedicated multilingual version for you.
